Premier League action for you to get your teeth into all weekend
The weekend’s Premier League action kicks off at the Etihad stadium between Manchester CIty and Tottenham Hotspur. With Yaya Toure not due back to training until tomorrow, Manuel Pallegrini could choose to rest his dominant centre midfielder ready for next week’s Champions League match against CSKA Moscow.
Sunderland will journey down the country to face Southampton at 3 o’clock at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday. Southampton are enjoying a fruitful start to the season and sit third in the table with four wins out of their opening seven games. Sunday will start at Queens Park Rangers where Liverpool will hope Raheem Sterling will be fit enough to start, that is if he can be bothered to get out of bed… teenagers. Michael Oliver will be in charge in the late kick off when Stoke welcome Gary Monk’s Swansea City to the Britannia Stadium at 4pm. Then Monday night’s football will see West Brom try to take on Manchester United at 8pm.
