2014 World Cup | With the group stages over we are keen to get our teeth stuck into the knockouts
2014 World Cup brought to you by Tib Street Tavern
After the England boys arriving home yesterday, it means we can actually look forward to watching the 2014 World Cup without having to worry if we’ll face any of the teams that are clearly better.
The knockout stages will start this Saturday between Brazil and Chile at 5pm. Later that evening we’ll see Columbia face a Uruguayan side who will have to do the job without their star striker Luis Suarez, who has just received a 4 month ban. Louis van Gaal will get his first chance to see Chicharito Hernandez play in Sunday’s early fixture between Netherlands and México. Then Monday will show France vs Nigeria at 5pm, then on Tuesday we’ll see the little genius that is Lionel Messi try and take on the Swiss defense.
