Top Bar In Manchester

At Tib Street Tavern (and with all modesty aside) we would certainly put ourselves into the category of one of the top Manchester bars. We may be relatively new, having been established in May 2012 but the attention to detail in both the extensive refurbishments and the choices on our drinks menu mean that we are up there with the best Manchester bars.

Tib Street Tavern had previously been Bar Centro, which had unfortunately fallen on hard times during recent years but after taking over we basically ripped everything out and started again, putting back and restoring some original features whilst installing an impressive bar and seating areas. As an independent Manchester bar in the Northern Quarter, our ambition was to offer originality but with a traditional twist and we feel that we have succeeded in that with some of our old style fixtures, polished floors and black and white imagery of Tib Street in years gone by.

We didn’t want to be known as a quirky Manchester bar or have a theme as such but we do intend to be around for a long time to come and therefore we invested in a high spec finish and a bar that is built to last, offering an affordable but varied drinks selection. Some of the favourites include draught Amstel, Moretti and now by popular demand, an award winning local blonde bitter. With our happy hours running from Monday to Thursday 3pm until 7pm, you will have the chance to sample top quality drinks at great prices in one of the top Manchester bars.

We are able to cater for private parties, group bookings and you can also book a booth for six to eight people if you want to have an area to yourself or indeed watch one of the Premiership fixtures we are showing. Please just give us a call on 0161 834 1600 or send us a message from our contact page on the website with your request.

Hailing as one of the top Manchester bars, not only do we pride ourselves on great service, a friendly welcome and very comfortable surroundings, we are also able to show many of the sporting events on our HD screens, with a large HD projector screen on display for the big games. During the busy times or a crucial match, you might want to indulge in a four pint jug of Amstel or a bucket of four Coronas so you don’t miss anything! We also have a varied food menu offering hearty traditiontal meals, alongside our ‘sports day snacks’ to serve you quickly and keep the hunger at bay.

If you are in the Manchester area, we are very easy to find at 74 Tib Street, look for the old lanterns on the front and our traditional picture windows; we are sure you will agree that we deserve our top bar in Manchester title and will keep coming back!
