Good Pubs In Central Manchester To Watch Football

Tib Street Tavern is one of the good pubs in Central Manchester to watch football, in fact it is not only good but offers quality surroundings, a great drinks selection and five HD screens so that you are guaranteed a great view of your chosen team. One of the five screens is a large drop down HD projector screen that can be seen throughout the ground floor of the bar.

Three of the HD screens are on the lower ground floor and this is where you can book a booth, either for your private function or if you and your friends wish to reserve one to watch your preferred football match. Simply call us to arrange this and we will always aim to accommodate your requirements.

Good Pubs in Central Manchester

As we subscribe to Sky TV and BT Sports, we plan to show all Premiership games, European football and La Liga depending on the TV schedules. We aim to advertise a week in advance of the games to be shown. We are an impartial pub and therefore do not allow football shirts or caps to be worn. We are trying to be fair to all and allow everyone to feel comfortable whilst they watch football in this great Manchester pub.

Tib Street Tavern also offers a great traditional food menu with a couple of favourites such as pie and mash and Steak and chips on there, for you to enjoy whilst watching one of the numerous football matches we will be screening. We have many drinks offers on match days and will introduce match time food deals to keep your hunger away.

Having already followed Team GB at the 2012 Olympics, showed many of the tennis events and screened the Euro 2012 tournament, we also display other sporting events as well as football, such as the Paralympic Games. If any of your party are not interested in watching our screens then there are other areas of the bar, such as our ‘cosy corners’, where they can escape it all and leave you to it.

Being in such a central location, and being better than most good pubs in Central Manchester, Tib Street Tavern is just a short distance from the tram and bus stations, making it easy to find whether you are local to Manchester and the Northern Quarter or simply on a visit to Central Manchester looking for a good pub to watch football. Oh and by the way, as the name suggests we’re on Tib Street, number 74 to be precise!
