Soulful Saturdays and plenty of sport!

So Autumn has decided to show its face and to avoid the rain, why not spend the weekend at Tib Street Tavern enjoying music and watching plenty of sport football action.
We will be playing a total of six games across the weekend, topping off the action with Manchester’s biggest football day of the year, Derby Day (limited capacity). Saturday night will be the start of our Cellar Full of Soul, read below for more information. And for those eager beavers who buy their presents in June, we are starting to take our Christmas bookings.

A selection of funk, rare grooves, northern soul, disco and everything in between.

Holidays are coming…

NORWICH vs ASTON VILLA Saturday 21st 12.45
The first match-up of the weekend will show Paul Lambert’s return to Carrow Road where Aston Villa will try to show it was a good move for the young manager.
LIVERPOOL vs SOUTHAMPTON Saturday 21st 15.00
Liverpool welcome Southampton to Anfield for the 3 o’clock kick off, but with Coutinho out with a shoulder injury will the reds be able to hold onto their top spot?
NEWCASTLE vs HULL CITY Saturday 21st 15.00
Hull City Tigers have played well at St James Park, winning three of their last four visits, but if Hatem Ben Arfa can turn his attempts into goals, the tigers should be scared.
CHELSEA vs FULHAM Saturday 21st 17.30
Chelsea and Fulham clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening for the first West London Derby of the season after the Blues had a disappointing home defeat to Basel on Wednesday.
ARSENAL vs STOKE CITY Sunday 22nd 13.30
The team that like to pass against the team that like to lump it forward. It’ll be interesting to see which strategy pays off for either Arsenal or Stoke City on Sunday afternoon.
MAN CITY vs MAN UNITED Sunday 22nd 16.00
The game that tends to clear the streets of Manchester will be kicking off at 16.00. Be sure to get to Tib Street Tavern early as we have limited capacity and if you’re late you won’t be let in, and you wouldn’t want that…
